Thank You Daniel Williams

It is with mixed emotions that Woods announces Daniel Williams’ decision to resign after 30 years at the forefront of its growth and success as a Director, Shareholder and for 20 years as Managing Director.

Over the last few years, Daniel has worked tirelessly to build strong succession and capability within the business. As part of this, in August last year, Daniel stepped down as Managing Director when David Kidd was appointed as Woods' first Chief Executive. Daniel remained on the Board and has continued to support Woods' growth as Strategic Lead.

While the decision to leave Woods was always going to be a difficult one, Daniel tells us that the timing is now right for him. It enables Daniel to devote time to his other pursuits which is thoroughly deserved and earned.

We have been privileged to work with Daniel and benefit from his vision, expertise and unwavering energy which has helped Woods to become the successful vibrant company we are today.

It is this legacy and foundation which is enabling us to continue being New Zealand’s leader in large scale land development and successfully pursue our strategic growth ambitions.

Daniel – on behalf of the Woods team, we thank you for your service and look forward to continuing to work with you in the future, albeit in a different capacity.

Tēnā koe mo to ārahitanga.

Thank you for your leadership.
