Woods have been providing consultancy services to Foodstuffs (Auckland) Ltd for nearly 20 years. During this period we have provided a range of services ranging from pre-purchase assessment of infrastructure, topographical surveys to enable further design to be undertaken on sites, engineering design of civil infrastructure, through to legal surveys and professional advice relating to the subdivision and ownership of sites.

Foodstuffs (Auckland) Ltd operates stores located from Turangi north in a variety of ownership structures. As part of our relation with Foodstuffs we work with associated developers to consent and subdivide sites to enable a variety of retail outlets to be constructed and share common facilities such as car parks etc. Part of this work involves us assessing the client’s requirements and at times coming up with innovative solutions to ownership, access or service requirements.

Working with Foodstuffs and other associated retail clients has given us a strong understanding of the retail environment and how to adapt traditional legal and ownership structures to a changing environment.
