This video combines the outputs from sophisticated stormwater modelling software with visualization techniques to demonstrate flood events in Apia, Samoa. Using this technology enables ease of understanding on issues such as where the floodwater comes from and how it is delivered during a rainfall event.

The flooding demonstrated in the video is more than just a movie, based as it is, on accurate survey and hydraulic modelling data and what is shown in the videos in terms of topography, flood levels and the direction of flows can be certified from an engineering standpoint.
